How Do We Collect Personal Data?

Your personal data processed for the above mentioned purposes is obtained completely or partially automatically, electronically, through Ford Otosan's website, your browsers, our third party advertising partners, and social media platforms.

Who May Access Your Personal Data?

Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except as stipulated in the legislation or specified in this Policy.

As stated above, your personal data is also collected via third-party cookies and transferred to third-party companies located abroad.

In addition, all your personal data mentioned above is transferred to our domestic supplier company, which provides services in these matters for the purpose of the use of cookies and the analysis of personal data collected through cookies.

Ford Otosan may transfer your personal data to the legally authorized private individuals and organizations and public institutions including relevant ministries, courts and enforcement offices for the purposes of carrying out all the above-mentioned activities in accordance with the current legislation, informing legally authorized institutions and organizations, following up the legal affairs and exercising our right of defence when necessary.

We only keep your personal information in identifiable form for as long as for the period required by the purposes of processing or, if necessary, during the legal statute of limitations. We will delete, destroy or anonymize personal data following the expiry of these periods.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

Your personal data collected through essential cookies is processed based on the legal reason of “existence of legitimate interest”.

Your personal data collected through advertising / marketing cookies is processed based on the legal reason "existence of your explicit consent" .

All of your personal data mentioned above is transferred to our domestic supplier company, which serves for the purpose of the use of cookies and the analysis of personal data collected by cookies, and to third-party companies located abroad, which provide third-party cookies, based on the legal reason of "existence of your explicit consent".

Your personal data is processed based on the legal reasons of "fulfilment of our legal obligations" and "establishment, exercise or protection of a right” for the purposes of carrying out the above-mentioned activities in accordance with the current legislation, informing legally authorized institutions and organizations, following legal affairs and exercising our right to defence when necessary and transferred to the persons and organizations mentioned above.

On the other hand, within the scope of the Law, data subjects are entitled to the following rights;

• Learning whether or not data relating to you are being processed;
• Requesting further information if personal data relating to you have been processed;
• Learning the purpose of the processing personal data, and whether the data are being processed in compliance with such purpose or not;
• Learning the third party recipients to whom the data are transferred within the country or abroad,
• Requesting rectification of the processed personal data which is incomplete or inaccurate,
• Requesting erasure or destruction of personal data in accordance with the conditions set forth under the Article 7 of the Law,
• Notifying the third persons to whom the personal data are transferred, about the requests made within the scope of 5th and 6th articles,

• Demanding compensation for the damages you have suffered as a result of an unlawful personal data processing.

As Data Subjects, you can notify your requests regarding your rights to Ford Otosan via the KVK Application Form shared with the public at www.fordotosan.com.tr.

Depending on the nature of the request, Ford Otosan will conclude the personal data requests free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. However, if the request requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged by Ford Otosan in accordance with the relevant legislation.
